THE WIDER CURRICULUM

The children at Stoneygate are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities.  Sport, music, art and drama  form a central part of the school week.  From Year Three onwards, sporting fixtures are arranged against other schools; rugby, netball, soccer, rounders, hockey, swimming, squash and athletics are just some of the sports available.  There are regular concerts and other musical and dramatic events.  The Art Department organises extra-curricular clubs for those who have special interest or talent for the subject.
The school has recently gained a Sportsmark Award for the quality of its provision for Games and P.E.
