Orchestra: First Half term Report

The orchestra has made a good start this year and has accompanied the hymns in two assemblies in the past few weeks.

In yesterday’s assembly, Thursday October 7th, the orchestra also played two pieces : Daisy Daisy and Papageno’s Song.

I am very pleased with the attendance and particularly with the new members who have started this year. Everyone is working hard and looking forward to the exciting events in this year’s programme such as playing before the carol service at St James’ the Greater and the Uppingham Orchestral Day in March.

New members are always welcome.

Please have a word with Mrs Marshall, Mr Hudson or Mrs Thompson if you are interested in joining. The orchestra meets every Tuesday from 4.05 to 4.40 in the Hall.
